I’m Apryl—a full-time pharmacist, part-time wanderer, and the creator behind @aprylwanders.

I first came to the UK to study pharmacy, and what was meant to be a temporary move turned into something more permanent. I settled in Manchester, a city that quickly became home, and from there, I started exploring more of the UK and beyond.

Growing up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I was always a city girl at heart. I loved the energy of big cities, the mix of cultures, and the endless places to discover. Naturally, my early travels took me to London and Paris, where I soaked in the historic streets, grand architecture, and vibrant city life.

But something changed along the way.

The more I traveled, the more I found myself drawn to the quieter, scenic landscapes of the British countryside. I fell in love with the rolling hills of the Peak District, the dreamy chocolate-box villages of the Cotswolds, and the rugged coastal beauty of Yorkshire. I discovered a different kind of charm – the kind that makes you slow down, appreciate the simple things, and just breathe.

These days, my weekends are often spent wandering through picture-perfect villages, chasing golden sunsets over the hills, or getting lost in historic market towns. But my love for cities hasn’t faded – I still enjoy uncovering charming, culture-rich places like Bath and Edinburgh, where history and modern life blend beautifully.

What You’ll Find Here

I believe travel doesn’t have to mean taking weeks off work or flying halfway across the world to feel inspired. Some of the best adventures can be found right on your doorstep—whether it’s a hidden village, a scenic road trip, or a short city break filled with history and culture.

Through Apryl Wanders, I share my best weekend getaway ideas, travel itineraries, and guides- helping you discover picturesque destinations across the UK and beyond. My content is all about making travel feel achievable, inspiring, and unforgettable, even if you only have a couple of days to spare.

And if you’re a flower lover, you’re in for a treat—I’ve made it my mission to find the most beautiful flower fields across the UK, from spring to late summer! 🌸🌿

So, if you love stunning landscapes, quaint villages, and storybook city escapes, you’re in the right place.
